Happy Holidays and the year to date

Happy Holidays to all of you! We at the district know that you have already worked very hard for your students and schools and we really appreciate it.

As you get ready to take a break for the holidays, it's a great time to review what should have been done so far, this year - just to make sure you are on track. Starting in January, there will be more opportunities with elections, Founders Day and getting ready for Convention so now's the time to make sure you and your PTA are caught up.

Things you should have already accomplished this year:

• Forward copies of approved annual budget to District.
• Plan calendar for year based on PTA goals.
• Forward copies of last year’s Annual Financial report to District.
• Forward copies of Last audit (1/1/09-6/30/09) to District.
• Forward first payment of membership per capita to District. Send monthly hereafter. Be sure to include remittance form!
• Review/update bylaws with Executive Board.
• Have Membership campaign in full swing – know your goals!
• Filed your annual tax return
